The Italian snowboard brand Northwave was born in the 90s, when snowboarders combined the Big Boy sole of the Northwave snow boots to an upper of a skate sneaker, giving life to the Espresso, a perfect sneaker for the afternoons. The Northwaves thus become icons of the nineties internationally, with a strong impact in Asia especially in Japan.
